Work hard – play hard. We provide every full time employee with a merchant ski pass. NO WE DON’T PLAY GAMES BY TAKING MONEY OUT OF YOUR CHECK TO PAY FOR YOUR PASS …MANY SHOPS DO, NOT US. It is not a requirement to ski or board 5 days a week but we attempt to set up a schedule to allow each staff member to be on the mountain 5 out of 7 days a week. If you can ski or board 5 days a week, you are a machine.
We also offer a good wage, sales incentives and have team goals for a trip to Mexico at the end of the year. Yes a trip to Mexico if your store hits is revenue goals for the winter. We have always had a good time in Mexico.

During the course of the year we set up events where our staff from Vail Village, Lionshead and Beaver Creek get together and have some fun….bowling, laser tag… Our owner buys the food and beers (providing you are of legal age) for
this event
and it is a good night out.
Oh yeah, we have locations in Vail Village (ski in – ski out), Lionshead (steps from the Gondola) and Beaver Creek (on the plaza and a short walk to the main chair lift) so it is pretty convenient to walk out the door to the lift and do some turns.

We are primarily a ski shop and it is helpful to have lots of ski experience. We buy new skis every year and tune our skis for every rental so having ski knowledge helps. If you were a skier great. Otherwise we rent Never Summer and K2 snowboards and if you are a quick study, you can rent skis and do a great job. It is intense sometimes but the day goes faster that way.

You need machine tuning equipment to run our machines. We have a Wintersteiger Micro Jet in Beaver Creek while Vail Village and Lionshead use Grindrite 2100's. All great machines and as you likely know, they have wide stones to tune snowboards as well. Factory reps are brought in a couple times a winter to provide tuning clinics. |
